Emma Young & I had the honor of contributing a two-color broadside to FOR ONE BOSTON. Dan Waters of Indian Hill Press generously donated his studio space & equipment & MVCVA (Martha's Vineyard Center for the Visual Arts) kindly helped us pay for materials.
FOR ONE BOSTON benefits those injured in the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. All monies raised by For One Boston go to the One Boston Fund, a 501c3 that will direct 100% of the funds to the bombing victims. FOR ONE BOSTON is a set of 130 limited-edition works by 147 artists, writers, designers, and printers; all work is previously unpublished and signed by those who produced it. The edition consists of 26 lettered and signed copies housed in boxes designed by Sarah Creighton,& published by Pressed Wafer in collaboration with Granary Books. Contributors include such literary luminaries as Paul Auster, Jorie Graham, Fanny Howe, Haruki Murakami, Charles Simic, & many others. To order a box, contact Steve Clay: [email protected]
